Thursday night was Nine Ninety Nines Gig (i love local gigs possibly more then seeing well known bands) and crazy randomness in Scandals. It was a night of blasts from the pasts, which is always awesome.
Yesterday was dvd night with my annabannana
Shopping this morning
And tonight is the last Chaos on the Pier, before they move it 'onland'. Can't wait!
Going to TRY and make some time for arty makery this week...

Painting in Pyjamas
i am ok. just super busy. tired. happy. and more busy.
Dvd nights are the new going out. The week before last i had 3 dvd nights with 3 different friends. i've started another dvd subscription as an attempt to try and stay in a bit more. i just can't keep up with the pace of my social life at the moment! i don't want to sound like i'm bragging that i'm popular, i'm just really bad at saying no to social invitations and i'm really good at suggesting meet ups with people, so i end up pretty busy. This week is the start of my new plan to become a hermit though.
i've been having the most fun with some of my most favourite people. i know some of the most amazing people ever, if you are one of them, know that i am grateful for your time & friendship! Wishing that i could see more of those of you who live far far away. (feeling really grateful for you all today).

My blood tests came back normal. When i told my friend Phill he thought that i had taken tests to determin if i was 'normal' and suggested i should get them re-taken!
i recently started fat fighters again. i've gained way too much lately & was starting to get unhappy about it. Although i missed my first weigh in this week because...
i got free gig tickets to see The Zutons, Alphabeat and Royworld at the Indigo2 in London!!
Alphabeat
It was being filmed for ITV2 & will be screened on July 2nd at 11pm. We were in the front row!! Which is a first for me, normally i can't be bothered with the crowds, but it wasn't so busy, and Londoners think they are too cool to look like they care about anything, so we just strolled on up the barriers. Don't expect to see us on telly though!
Just can't get enough of music at the moment.
The new Colplay album is making me super happy. It is different to their usual stuff, much more upbeat. Makes me want to dance and smile. One of my fav's:
i have a balloon in the first online balloon race. His name is Ciril Sneer(because he is a racoon gedit?) Check it out here. i'll post more details in a few days so you can help me along...

Btw, did you know you can rent CD's for a whole month for a mere 60p from your local library!! Good tip from my friend Matt.

Garden Scrapping
So i've been scrapping in the garden this weekend, because it is boootiful!
i am really loving using non-scrapbooking products at the moment, like straws and cardboard on my LO's, but also finding stuff to use to stamp and paint with. To create the circle's on this page i used a bottle top to stamp paint with.
Fun is a major priority at the moment, although i am finding it hard to say no to social invitations of any kind so am finding myself really busy and am so tired all the time! i think it might be time to slow things down a bit. These are good times.
And yes i really can be found doing this kind of crazy dancing, in public. Robot dancing is my fav right now. i am the model of coolness. ha ha! i pity my friends for having to put up with my embarassing behaviour.

The latest
So i went to two gigs last week & i really liked the warm up acts, so wanted to share. Pete & the Pirates and Royworld, you might have heard them on the radio recently singing this:
i loved the 80's synthesisers!! So cool. The boys in the group didn't like Royworld. Matt decided that the lead singer's clothes were 'natty'. Apparently this is a complementary word, but not. hmmm..
i have missed giging it sooooo much. Just bought more tickets for gigs at The Wedgewood Rooms. It's definately my favourite local venue.
Oh and i have a story of lovelyness to share...
There's a woman who gets off at my stop on the way home from work and every day her bloke is waiting for her at the station. They look so happy when they see each other and he always takes her bag from her and carries it. Today i was walking a little way behind them and despite listening to my ipod i could still hear that they were talking animatedly. They are sooo sweet. Stuff like this makes me happy, because after everything, i still want to believe in true love.
Working my way through Skins Series 2 at the mo... figgin love it!!!!
Missing Rasperry Fanta, Big Style. Why oh Why don't they make it in the UK?!?!?! WHY?!?!? grrrrrr!
Benefit goodness in the post. i'm building quite a collection now, someone needs to cure my addiction.

Enjoying some home time, but out for the next couple of nights and have plans for a Big Night Out at the weekend. Want to try and fit some scrapping in somewhere tho....
And i haven't printed any new photos for eons so i need to get on that! Obviously.
